Ok, so this is gonna be kind of a Frankenstein post here. I've founds some cars that I need opinions on, so there's the NPOCP side of it, and two of them are wagons, so it also incorporates Wagon Wednesday! Perfect!
I've been trying to find a second car so that my wife can have our Ford Fusion to drive the kids around town in and make both of our lives so much easier. Now we don't have a ton of money to be spending on something, but I still wanted something decently fun but still practical. So, just as any good Oppo would do, I took to Craigslist to find my next ride. And I actually came across some pretty interesting finds, but the details seem slightly sketchy, as Craigslist always does. So now I bring these options before you, the people of the Oppoverse. The four cars I'm currently looking at are as follows:

The V70 R is one of my dream cars. I know that may seem weird to some people, but I love wagons, I love AWD, I love turbos, and 5 cylinders sound awesome. So you combine all of that in to one car and you have the V70 R. And because it still looks like a soccer-mom-mobile, it's a damn good sleeper. Now, this one is obviously rough around the edges, as it should be for its year. That's to be expected and something I'm more than capable of handling. The think that pops up as a huge red flag is this quote from the ad:
Car was an AWD but is currently FWD as the rear drive shaft was removed. Could be easily fixed but currently gets better gas mileage as a FWD vs. AWD vehicle.
Um, what? That sounds like there was some sort of catastrophic failure there, but that could just be me being paranoid.

This car is a little smaller than what I'm looking for, but I could make it work. It's high mileage though, higher than I've seen on most Bimmers it's age. But I know with any car, as long as you do the proper maintenance, you can make any car run forever (sort of).

This ranks right up with the V70 R on my want list. I've always love the E36 body style, and I love unassuming sedans that pack a good punch. Plus, this one's a manual, which is a rarity when it comes to the sedans. It has 190k miles, so another high mileage car, but I don't mind doing some work.

RWD, manual, wagon. Not diesel and not brown, but hey, 3/5 ain't bad on the ultimate Jalop-mobile / Oppo-mobile scale. This is the lowest mileage vehicle I looked at, and also the most expensive. It's absolutely brilliant though. Looks amazing for it's age and would need the least amount of work out of any of the other options. But again, a bit more expensive than what I was looking for.
So I pose these questions to you Oppo. Are any of these cars worth taking a better look at? Has anyone had any nightmare experiences or on the flip side amazing experiences with any of the cars? I'm looking for any and all advice here. Thanks! (And pardon this post if it's disorganized or anything's misspelled. I'm writing this in between phone calls at work and running on 4 hours of sleep).
